About This Event
Trackday VAG 25-01 takes place May 16, 2025 at Mont-Tremblant Race Track in Quebec, hosted by VAG Motorsport. As the first stop in a five-event season, it’s an open-lapping participant track day built around steady, well-managed track time. Expect a paddock mix that can include Porsche 911 GT3 RS, GT4, and GT4 RS, BMW M-series, McLaren, Ferrari, VW GTI/Golf R, Audi RS-series, plus everything from clean street cars to track builds across all makes.
The day runs on rotating run-group sessions, typically three 20-minute sessions per hour, so traffic stays sensible and everyone gets regular laps. It starts with a mandatory drivers’ meeting covering flags, track flow, and passing etiquette, with an emphasis on clean driving and predictable passing. Between sessions, you’ve got paddock breaks to cool the car, check pressures, and debrief. Optional on-site instructors are available as support for lines and technique, plus premium lunch and refreshments for drivers.
It’s a solid fit for first-timers who want a structured, predictable format, and for intermediate and advanced drivers looking for enough track time to dial in consistency at the circuit. The paddock stays enthusiast-led and relaxed—friends and family usually hang out between sessions, talk setups, and catch up. Everyone takes safety and clean laps seriously without turning it into performance perfectionism, and the day tends to deliver stable sessions and plenty of clean track time.
